Rules of the Game
Basic Rules
- There are 4 owners, who will hold a draft to own all 32 NFL teams (8 teams each)
- Each NFL game with teams of two different owners has some amount of action ($$) on it.
- If one of your teams plays one of your other teams, there is no action.
Draft
- There are 8 rounds in the draft.
- Draft order is determined by prior year's results
- Owners can trade picks, but each must end up with 8 team
selections.
Trades during the Season
- There are no trades. Who would want your crappy teams anyway?
Action
Base Action
- Each game is worth a base $3
Upset Bonus
- A game is considered an upset if the winning team was
drafted in a later round than the losing team.
- A $1 bonus is paid for each two rounds of difference.
- Examples:
- A 4th round selection beating a 6th round selection : no
bonus
- A 4th round selection beating a 2nd round selection : $1
bonus
- An 8th round selection beating a 1st round selection :
$3 bonus
Playoffs
Playoff Teams
- A team making the playoffs earns $9 ($3 from every other player)
- A team receiving a first round bye earns $15 ($5 from every other player)
Playoff Games

During the playoffs, the winner of each game receives a set amount from every other owner.
- $3 ($9 total to winner) : Wildcard Games
- $5 ($15 total to winner) : First Round Games
- $7 ($21 total to winner) : AFC/NFC Championship Games
- $10 ($30 total to winner) : Superbowl
